So, I'm a Christmas-aholic! I think I got it from my Mom. She decorates every inch of their house every year! And not in a tacky, plastic Santas everywhere way. She would use white lights and garland and beautiful Christmas figurines. Every morning and evening for the month or so before Christmas our house would twinkle with lights everywhere, inside and out. I've been wanting to decorate for Christmas since the week before Thanksgiving but wanted to wait til the painting was done at our new house. We finished the kitchen yesterday and it looks awesome. Here's Jackson helping me paint the kitchen sitting in his new Bumbo seat (that's a Christmas present so don't tell his Great Granny or Great Poppa that he's already using it cause we're gonna wrap it up on Christmas as one of the presents with their money! =))
That was just one coat of the paint in the kitchen. It's a deep red and I love it! I'll take a pic of the completed work today. Anyway, I started decorating last night and I love the way the house looks. I think we're gonna get our Christmas tree today!
So, Jackson loves tv. He will crane his neck wherever we are so he can see it if it's on. Here's an example of this:
He's wearing his "Baby's First Christmas" outfit because my parents were in town and trying to get a good pic of him in it. He was VERY uncooperative. Also, please notice that his top few buttons are unbuttoned. My husband does this to him and I don't know why. Maybe he secretly wishes he could leave his own shirt unbuttoned this much but doesn't dare.
