We DID it! =)
This was the first 5k race that Mom, Dad, Liz, and I ran together. It was the National Police Week 5k and we all ran the whole way and passed a lot of people (aaand...got passed by a lot of people, too ;-)). We all finished right around the 31 minute mark which was pretty good for our first race. I think we all want to run some more. I'd love to keep working my way up to further distances but we'll see.

Speaking of, here she is with her boyfriend, Stephen. I got there just in time to see her and her 30 friends leaving in their party bus.
And here is Jackson on his first Metro ride. He called it a "choo choo" and looooved it! We'll definitely be riding the Metro lots this summer.
Just for the record, we don't usually let him have his pacifier unless he's sleeping, but he was especially cranky that day so we gave in.

Whoooo HOOOO.. I did a run/walk on mother's day. 3.5 miles. I walked it with the stroller and the two boys. Not quite as energetic as you and your family LOL :)
Good job! I can't get over how grown up Liz and Becky are. It's been a long time since i've seen them. Or you for that matter. Will you be in NOVA all summer? We'll be out to visit the family probably sometime in June. I would love to see you!

Its so fun to see a picture of your family! Even though I haven't seen them in person since I came to visit you in VA in 1994 (?), its pretty crazy that you all really look the same--older, but completely recognizable! Also, I am really enjoying all the photos of your little man Jackson--I think he looks so much like you (his eyes in particular). Anyway, take care! Love ya. :)
I'm so proud of you. I want to be a runner but haven't made that decision yet. Still using my knee injury as an excuse over 10 years later. Is that lame or what? It does hurt to run but geez. :-) I want to do triathlons with Daniel, too. Becky looks gorgeous. So does your mom...even in running clothes. Tell your fam I said hi.
